The team's been doing great & pouring out their hearts & energies here. Yesterday was a good day of fellowship & rest & today we're back at work. Construction wise we're about half way done with the construction of the kitchen, & if things continue at the rate we're going we should be able to leave the kitchen ready with paint & everything!
Some points for prayer:
-Bill had some back problems last week & is still not at 100%,
but he's a trooper & continues to be an encouragement.
-Ryan's stomach has not been doing so well today, so today he's
at the apartment resting.
-Cassie got an ear infection right before the trip & with
medication & prayer, her ears are doing better, but still not at
peak performance for hearing.
-The team's had a great attitude all around, but as they continue
to work hard & get tired, continue to pray for us to have the
attitude of Christ (Phil. 2:5), as well for love to be what abounds in
our fellowship (1 Pet. 4:8).
-Praise Jesus, yesterday water had started coming out of the
ground near where we are building & this morning it was a
mystery as we kept digging and digging, but even as I started to
type now, we found the broken pipe & it's all been taken care
of.
-I know that the team's been touching lives here & blessing
others as well as being touched themselves & hearing God speak
to them. Continue to pray that there may be no limitations on all
that God wants to do in & through the team & their time
here.
This week I started out sharing with the team from James 5 & yet again as I think about your prayers, "The prayers of the righteous person are powerful & effective" (James 5:16b). Thank you for your prayers! You are an important part of what God is doing here!
